A Savage Arms made rifle. It is in excellent condition and has been well maintained. Serial numbers are matching on the receiver and wrist band. It is fitted with a Micrometer Rear Sight.
The woodwork is clean with a few minor blemishes. The shooting grade bore is in excellent condition, which is bright with strong rifling and gauges .303.
The current owner is thinning out his collection and this rifle is no longer required.
Enfield No 4 Mk1* rifles were produced by Savage Arms under the Lend-Lease Program. It is marked correctly with “US Property” and was manufactured in 1942.
This rifle is a must for the Enfield or military rifle collector.
